PATTERN PRIORITY: Outfits Centered Around Bold Statement Pieces

Meet my baby sister Audrey! (yes, she’s almost 14, but she’s still my baby sister and I love her to pieces!)
She’s one of the few middle schoolers who got to skip that awkward phase of glitter graphic tee’s and light up shoes. Her style is impeccable! ( I rub off on her a lot )  By combining  some of her  boldest signature pieces and my accessories, we came up with a collection that draws your eye for a fun, comfy and girly look.

Look 1: Peaches and Cream
This is the perfect combination of preppy, cozy, and casual. By pulling colors from the skirt, the details in the pattern stand out more. Adding a  luscious, thick, cream scarf and matching leg warmers gives the allusion that Florida actually gets cold in the winter!
Boots: Bongo
Legwarmers: Plato’s Closet
Scarf: Aeropostale
Skirt: Forever 21
Top: Thrifted

Watch & Ring: Thrifted

Look 2: Tenochtitlan

So in love with her vibrant flowy skirt! It has so many colors which makes it easy to pair. Because of the length it could  easily be dressed up or down. We decided to dress it down with a lace tank and a slouchy cardigan both in neutral colors to let the skirt  really speak for itself.

( I must say, Her curls are on point in this lighting!)
Cardigan: Cotton On
Skirt: Charlotte Russe
Top: H&M
Necklace: Charlotte Russe

Flats: Deena & Ozzy

Look 3: Blossoming Peacock
One trend that I am guilty of falling for is the chiffon kimono. But how can you not? They are a great accent to any outfit, come in all different colors and patterns, and are just plain fun to wear! This floor length cut happens to be my favorite and  with a cute graphic tee and high waisted jeans, this becomes the perfect ensemble for a sunny day outdoors.
Kimoni: Tilly’s
Top: Plato’s Closet
Jeans: Thrifted
Shoes: H&M
Rings: Claire’s

Necklace: Icing
